Who we are

We are the Rotary Club of Oxford Spires.

We are new

Members of the Rotary Club of Oxford Spires and The Rotaract Club of Oxford

The club formed in 2003, making it one of the younger clubs in District 1090. In over ten years we have taken part in many different activities, raised thousands of pounds and have attracted members of all ages, genders and races to our club.

We are informal

The World Greatest Meal Day meal, where everyone wore purple to raise awareness for the End Polio Now campaign.

Don’t want to wear suit and tie? Tired of the usual formalities of Rotary? No problem! Our club has a relaxed, informal atmosphere as we discuss Rotary business and listen to guest speakers.

We are flexible

We understand and appreciate that people have busy lives. From full time jobs to family commitments. Our club meets twice a month from 7:30pm, where we have a meal before our club meeting. However we are flexible enough to fit around your life.

Don’t want to have dinner before the meeting? You can skip the meal and go straight to the meeting. Running late at the office and can’t get to the meeting in time? Why not join us remotely via Skype or Google Hangout? Can’t make it to every meeting? Not a problem, we’ll see you at a future meeting.

We are varied and dynamic

Our club has a wide range of member aged between 28 and 82 from a wide variety of backgrounds. It is fantastic to have such diversity of thoughts and ideas within our club
